Rubies are the premium currency in Clicker Heroes. Finishing level 139, ascending for the first time or buying a Quick Ascension unlocks the mercenary tab and gives the player a free mercenary. Mercenaries are little helpers that can be sent on various random quests, to obtain Gold, Rubies, Hero Souls, Relics, additional mercenaries or to activate random skills. When you transcend, you sacrifice all of your hero souls, ancients, relics, and gold, keeping only rubies, mercenaries, clan immortal damage, ancient souls and transcendent power. After that, Atman and Solomon are great for increasing your Primal Soul gain in each run. Speaking of the main topic, I quit Clicker Heroes at my 2nd ascension somewhere around the level 140 range. He has tried to prevent the forward progress of this game by wasting Ender's time on preventing/catching cheaters. Prevent the forward movement of (a wheel or vehicle) with a chock.
